Day one
Get a demonstration in the art of silk painting from the basics of tie dyeing to shibori techniques and how to use these in silk painting and we will prepare a silk scarf using thes techniques
You will design and prepare a frame of silk cards and bookmarks using the gutta resist technique all the prepared pieces will be left over night
Day two
Will be spent having fun with colour and finishing all the pieces
Take home your hand painted silk scarf and a number of hand painted cards and bookmarks
Time 5 hours
Due to Covid Max 6 people Min 2 people
The class will be held in Swallow Studios Everyone will be well spaced out and the studio will be well ventilated with all the windows and doors open. Everyone will be required to wear a mask.
