Commissions In Batik

I love the challenge of working on a commission trying to figure out exactly what the customer wants doing the drawings and coming up with the colours.  A number of years ago I had to work on a large wall hanging for the Notre Dame University Folk Choir  I had to use the choirs logo and get it to fit in a desired size.   

Getting the size in proportion then using a black marker so that I can see the design through the silk
